Membrane coatings through the plasma spray processes can be used to produce both dense and porous ceramic/metallic membranes with desired chemistries for a variety of applications including gas separation, factories, oil and gas, and filtration. SST personnel have developed custom oxygen separation coatings in the  La-Sr-Co-Fe (LSCF) family.
